Where can I buy mahogony planking and sheets for my old wooden Boat?
I got an older wooden boat that I want to update and restore. I need to find some mahogony planking and sheets to replace the old plywood that currently exist. I dont know where to find this stuff……is there anything online? Also, any links for tips and tricks to restoring Wooden Boats would be greatly apprieciated.
Try contacting Woodwind Yachts (www.woodwindyachts.com). They specialize in the restoration of wooden boats. I don’t know where you live but they may know some place near you. In Southern Ontario, there is also Noah’s and Exotic Woods. Short of that, you might want to try a furniture manufacturer.
